SAWMILL INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL

Natalie Duplessis' Sawmill art students learned the craft of cartooning from a visiting artist on Thursday.

Designer and illustrator David O. Miller showed the students the finer points of sketching ideas, the secret of creating three dimensions using curved lines, and the shapes to master to draw nearly any creation.

Miller also discussed his own career, including designing for Dungeons & Dragons.
